Find Articles


Find a Known Article/Journal | Find Articles on Your Topic

To find out if the CSU Libraries provide electronic access to a specific article (you know the article title, journal name, year...), or to a specific journal, use the find e-journals search.

When an article is not available in electronic fulltext through the CSU Libraries, use the FindIt screen link Request this item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

A PDF will later be delivered to the Webview area of your online interlibrary loan account.

You will need your CSUID and your Sage PIN to access CSU Libraries databases from any off-campus computer.

    The database ERIC is a good starting point.

    See also the broader database listing for the social sciences.

    FindIt icon will appear in your database search results. Use it to discover if the fulltext of an article (print/electronic/microtext) is available through CSU Libraries.

  • Start by looking for items owned by CSU Libraries (Sage catalog).

    As a distance student, use the Request links you'll see to request items for home delivery; select Distance Learner as your pick-up location.

  • You might also look for items available for loan from Colorado and Wyoming Libraries (Prospector).

  • Still need more? Try searching the WorldCat database for items at libraries worldwide.

    As a distance student, use the FindIt icon button in WorldCat item descriptions to check if the item is available from the CSU Libraries.

    If it is not, use the Request this item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) link on the FindIt page.

Dissertations/Theses

  • Use the CSU Libraries database, Dissertations and Theses: Fulltext

    Search by topic/author/other for dissertations/theses completed worldwide. Download fulltext (PDF) for many completed 1997 or later.

    As a distance student, use interlibrary loan to request for home/electronic delivery theses/dissertations that are not available in fulltext online.
