Historically, a manual file for checking in SERIAL issues, no longer used.  Now all CHECK-IN is done online in SAGE.

Libraries map collection consisting of more than 75,000 maps.  Named after Karen Jacob, a former government documents librarian at the University.  Located in MORGAN LIBRARY, 1st floor, south wing.

See the Veterinary Medical Center Library. Also known as VTHBL.  Named after Dr. Harry Kingman, a major benefactor of the library.

Short for KeyWord In Context. An index produced by rotating each significant word in the title of a document so that is appears alphabetically in the index.  The GENERAL REFERENCE AREA has a KWIC Index of the holdings in the area for general, science and technology, and documents reference materials.  (No longer being maintained -- June 1999)
