IVAC - Instructional Video Access Center
IVAC is supported by ACNS Classroom Support Services - Classroom Media Services. The Center is located on the first floor west of the Morgan Library and features four viewing monitors along with a direct telephone request line to Classroom Media Services.
Viewing hours are Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m.
until 8:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Automated playback at other times can be arranged by calling
491-5920 between 7:45 a.m and 4:45 p.m Monday through
Friday. Students should be ready to supply the Classroom
Media Services technician with either the program title or
the appropriately assigned program number given to you by
your instructor.
Directions for using IVAC - Playback of a Video Library holdings
- If you do not have the program title for the videotape you wish to view, you may search the Classroom Media Services Video Library for videotape, DVD, and film holdings. There is a computer station in IVAC dedicated to searching these holdings.
- Pick up the phone and dial "0" for a direct line to Classroom Media Services.
- Give the Classroom Media Services technician the program title or assigned tape number. You will be asked to tune your monitor to a specific channel.
- Tune your monitor to the channel and the program will begin directly.
