After getting a solid background of information on a topic, it is appropriate to search for books and articles. To look for books, search in the library catalog (Sage). The following are some suggested terms that can be searched by Subject (or Keyword) in SAGE (a Library of Congress subject heading must be used for a subject search, although the library catalog Sage will give suggestions in some instances of the appropriate term to use). The same "subject" may be listed more than once so be sure to search for all synonyms, for instance, "assisted suicide" and "euthanasia." If you have a topic from another area, consult the Library of Congress Subject Headings books or start with a Keyword search on Sage, and examine the "Subjects" listed under books that looks useful. Then do additional Subject or Keyword searches for those terms.
