The University Historic Photograph Collection (UHPC) documents the history, campus,and people of Colorado State University. Over 1,000 of the oldest photographs from this unique collection have been digitized and are searchable online. Over 12,000 additional images are in the process of digitization, and will be available online next year.

Subjects included in this large collection include:

  • Academic disciplines (agriculture, engineering, home economics, science and arts, veterinary medicine)
  • Student activities, organizations, and athletics
  • Scenes of the campus and its buildings
  • The history of Cooperative Extension
  • Early scenes of Fort Collins.

Photographs in the collection that have not been digitized are available to researchers.
